Our Outreach program seeks to mobilize Waymaker.Church to bring God's glory to the nations, to
endear our community with compassion, and to love and support foster and adoptive children and
their families.
As of 2024, Waymaker.Church is setting out to send 2,500 goers to our neighbors and the nations. What does this look like? We are praying that God would allow us to plant 25 churches, send 250 missionaries to unreached people groups, and send out 2,500 total goers in the next 25 years.

We seek to bring hope to those who are within our local community and provide opportunities for you to be the hands and feet of Jesus by putting our faith into action.
For Lynchburg is a Waymaker.Church initiative created to serve and care for our community in the greater Lynchburg area. Throughout the year, we coordinate service projects and events to serve our community.
This initiative is designed to help support others in our Waymaker.Church family that have needs that we can meet.
CarePortal exists to help hurting children and families. It brings together diverse constituents to support children and families in crisis. Needs are met through physical, financial, and labor donations.
Impact Circles exists to expand the natural support systems of at-risk youth who are aging out of foster care. Our goal is to widen and strengthen our youth’s relational circles so they have a positive and diverse community.
Food for Thought exists to provide students with nutritious meals as they leave school on Friday afternoons to sustain themselves over the weekend.

We are excited to partner with Harlem Community Church, a local church plant faithfully serving the Harlem neighborhood of New York City. This short-term mission trip is an opportunity to come alongside what God is already doing in the community and to support the ongoing work of gospel ministry in an urban context. During our time in Harlem, our team will engage the neighborhood through intentional prayer, evangelism, and personal invitation. This trip is not about short-term results, but about faithful presence and partnership, supporting a church plant committed to loving its neighbors and proclaiming Christ in word and deed.
We will work alongside Sports Outreach to make a way for the life-changing news of Jesus to be brought to the people who call the Dominican home. This is an incredible first step in our global trips as you will do everything from sharing the gospel, to children’s ministry, using sports as a tool for evangelism, and more. We are praying that this trip will build lasting relationships that are transformed by the gospel.
Our Sri Lanka short-term mission trips are designed to come alongside our indigenous leaders in a way that empowers their future ministry. On the field, our short-term teams execute a proven strategy to encourage local believers and reap an evangelistic harvest with them. The work these teams do overseas also creates a laboratory effect that equips them to make disciples even when they return home. Teams help story groups (bible studies) transition into biblical churches using FAMM’s Church Planting model. Participants work alongside FAMM staff with existing story groups to encourage the local believers, establish them in the faith, launch a local church, and reap an evangelistic harvest. This trip has an incredible emphasis on the Gospel, with a focus on seeing churches planted and people come to Christ!
