Tuesday, March 31 | Prayer of Personal Surrender and Repentance

Passage: Mark 1:15–18
On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’

1. Ask God to reveal areas of your life where you need to repent (attitudes, habits, priorities).

2. Confess specific sins honestly and receive God’s forgiveness.

Wednesday, April 1 | Prayer for City Repentance

Passage: Hosea 10:12
Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you.

1. Pray for your city, for The Spirit to “break up fallow ground”— to have hearts softened toward God.

2. Pray for a spiritual awakening marked by righteousness and Repentance.

Thursday, April 2 | Prayer of Unity in the Church

Passage: Ephesians 4:1–6
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

1. Intercede for a deep sense of oneness rooted in “one body, one Spirit, one Lord.”

2. Ask that our church and the church of Lynchburg would reflect the unity of Christ to the world.

Friday, April 3 | Reflect on Your Freedom Through the Blood

Passage: Colossians 1:13–14
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

1. Reflect on your story of how Jesus has rescued you from darkness and brought you into His kingdom.

2. Pray that others would experience this same redemption and deliverance.

Saturday, April 4 | Come, Holy Spirit

Passage: Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

In preparation for tomorrow, invite the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh. Ask God for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit for our church and community on Easter Sunday.
