Opening
Ask your group:
- When you think of another generation, what are the first words or impressions that come to mind?
- Have you ever had a meaningful relationship with someone from a different generation? What made it work?
Then ask:
- Why do you think God values unity and collaboration across generations in the church?

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:12–27
Main Idea:
The Church thrives when generations don’t just coexist but truly collaborate. Each generation carries unique strengths and perspectives, and when united in Christ, they reflect the fullness of God’s design for the body.

- Out of touch
Older generations’ views of younger generations:
- Tech-savvy
- Socially conscious
- Entitled
- Financially irresponsible

All Generations

Application:
- Pray together. Intergenerational prayer unites our hearts around vision and passion.
- Serve and love one another. Look for ways to serve alongside someone from a different generation.
- Destiny (younger) and legacy (older) are not at odds—they thrive together in God’s Kingdom.
Closing (Prayer Prompts)
- Pray for God to restore and strengthen generational unity in the Church.
- Ask God for humility to listen to and learn from other generations.
- Commit as a group to walk in collaboration and love—across every age and stage.
